Getting Started with Lovlett
Lovlett helps agencies and freelancers collect precise, contextual client feedback on any type of creative work. Here's how to get started.
1. Create your workspace
After signing up, you'll land on your dashboard. This is your central hub for managing clients, projects, and files.
2. Add a client
Go to Clients and click New Client. Enter your client's name — this helps you organize projects by client.
3. Create a project
Inside a client, click New Project. Give it a name and an optional deadline. Deadlines are visible to reviewers to set expectations.
4. Upload your files
Click Add File to upload your creative work. Lovlett supports:
- Images — PNG, JPG, WEBP, SVG
- Documents — PDF
- Videos — MP4, MOV, WEBM
- Audio — MP3, WAV, AAC
- Scrollable mockups — Full-page designs from Figma, XD, Sketch
- Text — Rich text documents
- Embeds — YouTube and Vimeo links
5. Share with your client
Each project has a unique review link and an access code. Share both with your client — they don't need an account to review.
6. Collect feedback
Your client clicks anywhere on the file to leave a pinned comment. Every piece of feedback is attached to the exact spot they're referring to — no more vague emails.
7. Manage versions
Upload new rounds as you iterate. Every previous version is kept, so you can compare changes across iterations.
8. Get approval
When your client is satisfied, they can formally approve the file. A timestamped PDF approval certificate is generated automatically.
